Today I had some wonderful news. Completly out of the blue an e-mail popped into my box from a cousin in Australia who I had not seen or heard of for 45 years. I am now able to revisit a portion of my life long since forgotten with family I thought of as long since gone. Family history research can be time consuming, frustrating, annoying, expensive even at times, but when a thread comes together... isnt it wonderful. I just wanted to share this with all the conributors, no make that with all my friends on this site, especially if you are struggling with something. Dont give up. The results are worth it. Thanks everyone
Pat

Hi Patrick,

Great news especially from an unexpected source. Hope you and your cousin keep in touch.

I was in 7th heaven when I had a couple of lucky breaks with mine and those little snippets of info which didnt make sense at the time all fell into place.

That's great news Pat.
I and I'm sure everyone here, wishes you all the best on hearing of your reconnection with family members. It is amazing what the internet can and has achieved, even though your family are many, many miles away.
I'm all for family reunions!
All the best for the future.
