daughter
Elizabeth Ann LEWTON c. 19 Mar 1838 Bristol

These don't appear in IGI. It seems some parishes in Gloucester have not been filmed??

If I have the names and no parish and only a very rough date what chance do I have of getting even a quote for a search from the Registry Office in Bristol?

Have you tried emailing the records office at Bristol, these places are very helpful.

I searched the Gloucestershire Council database and the only thing I found was an entry that matches an IGI extract for a younger sibling of George:

1818 Luton Ann Mother bitton mf 1243. r Non-conformist
1818 Luton Aaron Father bitton mf 1243. r Non-conformist
1818 Luton Elizabeth Child bitton mf 1243. r Non-conformist

Elizabeth LUTON - Aaron & Ann Batch: C043961
b. 26 Aug 1818 c. 22 Sep 1818 Kingswood School-Nc, Bitton, Gloucester.

I have sent off a detailed email, so we will see if any records exist for the events not in IGI and not in that database.

The Gloucestershire Archives Office says that apart from the baptism in 1818 of George's younger sister that I found after an on-line search of the archive they cannot help me further and that I should direct my query to BRO. I have sent off another email.
