I am trying to find a connection between Hannah Manuel and Mary Ann Manuel.

Mary Ann Manuel
Marriage Date: 29 Jan 1822
Marriage Place: Dawley-Magna, Shropshire, England
Spouse: George Goodwin
FHL Film Number: 502921

Text: 25 Oct 1819 Abraham Griffiths, widr., & Hannah Manuel, wid.
Book: Marriages, 1819 to 1837 (Marriage)
Collection: Shropshire: Buildwas, Berrington - Parish Registers, Lichfield Diocese

An Abraham Griffiths and a Margaret Manuell were witnesses at Many Ann Manuel's wedding.

Looking for anything on Abraham Griffiths, Hannah Manuel, Mary Ann Manuel and Margaret Manuell.

Many thanks.

I kept finding stuff on Manuel families in America and not Shropshire.
I had a similar problem, but when I limited searches to England, Somerset kept coming up. I have some vague connections for these families in Somerset but can't find a link to Shropshire

A possible for Hannah's first marriage

John Manuel married Hannah Wright 31 Dec 1793, Shrewsbury, St Chad's

And Abraham's.

Abraham Griffiths married married Mary Parry 29 Aug 1787, Shrewsbury, St Alkmund's

Thanks, Lizzy..
Had a quick look through some old notes, there is a reference to Buildwas. I'll check the tree a bit later..
Unfortunately there is no more than the marriage in Buildwas as post #1 in my notes.

If Hannah was her mother, I find it strange that she was not a witness, unless of course she had died by 1822, when Mary Ann married

The other witness is a Margaret Manuell whom I can only suggest was a sister

The name Margaret Sprague came into equation for some reason, but I can't find the old notes.. As I recall she married a John Manuell [may have been Cornwall].

Mary Ann d. 1828 aged 27y, so b. c1801, but where?
