Well I've looked but I'm blowed if I can find anything no matter how I spell the names.

Just out of interest the birth registration for daughter Elizabeth gives mmn as Spawton.

Yes, I think Spawton is probably the usual with the reg in Queensland.

Rebecca's marriage has Johnston but most of other reg have Johnson.

My error and I ended up with the wrong family. Absalom does not belong now. Spawton also does not belong.

I found two baptism records today that help confirm the right Johns(t)on family. I'll post them in another topic where we can follow the correct family.
