Hi All,
Having a block on finding birth details for Adam Murphy. He got married 1918 to EllenMorrison in Glasgow. His parents were John Murphy & Margaret Ashcroft ( or may be Ann). Can't find anything through Scotland's people. Any body any idea where I should try?
Thanks Alan

Hi Romany, yes these names are familiar, as you sent some details to help previously, but I could not find these on Scotland's people, stating Adam was born in Aberdeenshire but baptised in Glasgow?
Adam was 19 yrs on marriage cert to Ellen in 1918
Father John Murphy deceased was a coal miner
Mother Margaret Ashcroft
Cannot find Adam in 1901 or 1911 census for Scotland

Any other ideas?
Alan
