On Familysearch Albert Edward Brown married Alice Mary Stevens in Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales
It also says marriage and banns on same day?
The records are said to be on FMP but my sub has expired - is it banns or marriage?

Fmp only has the Banns, but no actual marriage record. Banns were read December 1st, 8th, and 15th. However there are two diagonal lines written over the record with the word 'Certified' written between them so I'd say the marriage took place.

Alice Mary Stevens is noted as a Widow.

Thanks for that MT all fits with what I had but as its for a friend I wont spend £11 to satisfy fathers name!
