This is the right Will 1874 for John Walker of Paddington.

Thanks Rupert.

Those Wills come in handy. :)

I can look that marriage up at the local library tomorrow.

News to me. I have two daughters who both died before 1860 I can't find as well. They'll be next.

Burial 868/1848 V1848868 33B WALKER MARY AGE 36

Burials in the Parish of St. James Sydney in the County of Cumberland in the Year 1848
No. 729 Mary Walker Abode: Elizabeth Street When Died: 14th May 1848 When Buried: 15th May 1848 Age: 36 yrs Ship's Name: - Quality or Profession: Husband a Musician By whom the Ceremony was performed: Chas F. D. Priddle

Don't know where the burial took place. If it was Devonshire street then those interments were moved to various cemeteries around Sydney when Central Railway station was built.

I have a copy of John's second marriage - actually 4 copies saved with different settings - the image is very faint and very difficult to read. I will post one copy on the Documents board.

Looks as though Celia was a widow.
