Very odd family the Mellefonts in Ireland - you can get an idea of their political leanings from the middle names they chose - Peel, Gladstone, Eldon, ...

Thanks Geoff.

Most of the KILFEDERs born Kinlough, Co Leitrim. I have the dates but no source.

Those who didn't go to Australia died in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.

Received an email today saying some Irish records are free to view on St Patrick's Day. Not sure if it means from now until 17 March or just on 17th.

Yeah, I got an email too saying there was a 100 free entries or something, but it includes the index, which I think is free anyway, but don't quote me...

When you register you are allowed 100 searches of the index. If SP did the same I would have needed 20 different email addresses.

Nothing on the home page re St Patricks Day.
