Possible the one who married Mgt may be a different Alexander? He was born Barony, Lanarkshire 1848 and is a steam car driver.
Wife Mgt born 1843 in Renfrew.
Children Alex 1875, Ann 1877, Wm 1880 all born Renfrew. The family are living at Anniesland, Renfrew in 1881

Alexander still at same address in 1891 with daughter Janet born 1873 and Alex, Ann and Wm and joined by a Samuel born 1885. Now says he was born Maryhill, Lanarkshire 1848. Mgt still 1843 Renfrew.

This one the son of Alexander Mcluckie and his wife Ann. Family living in New Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire in 1851. Alex born 1847 Barony.

Not with family in 1851 so possibly died.

Possible death, odd that it would be in Airdrie/New Monkland [4-6 miles E of Gorbals], given the family were in Gorbals 1842.. Unless he was ill, say and in an institution?
