Alexander Sinclair death

Hi,
I dont seem to be able to find a death record for a Alexander Sinclair he would have died just after 1851 as he is listed as aged 90 in that census living in scotland?? does anybody have any much needed ideas to help me please??

Hi,
Ive seached through the scottish people site (i regularly spend far too much money on that site)!!! but the death appears to have happened before 1855 when the deaths are listed on site. Ive been through the wills also, his sons is on there as they were relatively big farmers but cannot find one for Alexander!!

Hi,
many thanks for your help..how did you know he was a retired farmer and had lots of children ??!!! I have only been able to find 3 of his children so far

I had found him on the census.. 1841/1851, and this lists everyone in the household on census night. :confused:

Ancestry have transcriptions of the Scottish Census, (just not the images)
