Desperately seeking help. Alexandra Selina Halliday (nee Parkinson) was born in 1863 in Dalston London. She is my Great Grand Aunt. I am trying to find her death, probably in Montreal after 1938. She moved to Canada in the early 1900s and appears in some Lovell Directory and some shipping records crossing the Atlantic, alone, in the 1930s probably to visit family in the UK. She last traveled back to Canada in 1938. Alexandra is the only one of that generation that I have not found where & when she passed away. Grateful if anyone can find her death details, probably in 1938 or after and probably in Montreal or Canada in general.
Thank you.

Thank you gibbo and solidrock for checking. solidrock is correct, I too can't find any reference to Alexandra after her mention on shipping records for the 7 October 1938 'Duchess of Atholl' from Liverpool to Montreal. Alexandra was 74 then. I subscribe to several genealogical sites and can't find any deaths at sea references. Her 'disappearance' is a conundrum!

Just to add a little bit more information regarding Alexandra. She appears in the Lovell Street Directory for Montreal from 1921/22 to 1930/31. Appears as Mrs A Halliday wid T [widow of Thomas] nurse, living at 19a Fourth Ave 1921/22 to 1922/23. Mrs A Halliday wid Thos at 57A Willibrord Av 1923/24 to 1926/27, And as Mrs Alexandra Halliday wid T at 360 Riele Av Verdun 1927/28 to 1930/31.
Possibly not living in Montreal after 1930/31?
I have yet to find her on the 1921 census for Canada.
