Hello,

Alfred Ernest KILNER b. Dec Q 1872 Huddersfield d. Jun Q 1927 Huddersfield

I'd like a look up please for Alfred in 1901. He should be in Huddersfield. I can't see a marriage. I don't know his occupation but his brother and father were dyers.

Thanks,

Regards,

Dave

Hello woodlander,

Thank you very much. It seems what LDS have on the new site does not yet include all that they have on IGI and neither yet includes stuff that is on FreeBMD. It means I should have checked all three for a marriage:

Marriages Sep 1899
Bamforth Lizzie Huddersfield 9a 613
Beaumont Edith Huddersfield 9a 613
Kilner Alfred Ernest Huddersfield 9a 613

Wintermann Franz W C Huddersfield 9a 613

I don't know of any other Alfred Ernest so it's probably him.

Regards,

Dave

I've still not found which MELLOR family the one in Victoria belongs to. No, I've not put that puzzle off. :D

Hello cp,

Thank you very much.

I have Robert in 1861 census but not after that. I'm still trying to find his connection with KILNER or HIRST also in Melbourne. Perhaps deceased estate thing and not a marriage. ???

Regards,

Dave
