Looking for a death date for my grandfather Alfred Oxer born abt 1877, in Sandle , Yorkshire .
Alfred married Mary Ellen Brown in 1901 in the parish of Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield. they had two sons , Edward and Alfred , and two daughters Constance , and Winifred.
Alfreds wife Mary Ellen died in 1912 , the year that her youngest son was born. My grandfather was at that time living in Tamworth , Staffordshire, his children were placed in to the Fullwood Cottage Homes in Sheffield, as its possible that Alfred deserted his family ?, what happened to him still remains a mystery, as i dont know where or when he died ?
