I still can't find a birth reg that fits for either of them. Alfred was known as Sid.

He's William Dixon in the censuses, Did Elizabeth marry another William?
Emily's father is William on her marriage and death reg. I have no idea if Elizabeth on her death reg is correct for her mother.

Have you found a William, a smith, with another wife not named Elizabeth?
