May 10.-Woodbridge, ship, 516 tons, E. Coppell, commander, from London, via Adelaide 5th instant. Passengers, Cabin, Henry Collins, Esq. and Lloyd Jones, Esq. Surgeon, Intermediate, ... A. Slaughter, wife and two children, ...

A Mr and Mrs Slaughter and 2 children left Sydney for Moreton Bay on the Lavina, schooner on 20 September 1851. If it is Alfred and Esther Slaughter then the final piece of the puzzle will be when they arrived in Sydney.

September 18. Lavina, schooner, 64 tons, Captain Wyborn, for Moreton Bay. Passengers - Mr. and Mrs. Slaughter and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Nixon and child, and 9 in the steerage.
