Samuel went to Sydney where he married in 1858.

married in Church of St James Sydney by Banns 30th May 1858 By me George Gurney
Parties: Samuel signed, the mark x of Emma Farmer Witnesses: Sarah Moss, John Moss

Then he was back in Melbourne to be the informant for Harriet's death in 1862.
