Ancestree changed

Oh well, they've changed the layout and just about everything is not recognizable.

Yes I tried it for a month, and stopped using it about a month ago because I didn't like it either I've cancelled my sub which was due at the end of the month and gave that as my reason for going

Cancelled my subs yesterday, and as I was doing that, a message popped up to see if I wanted to sign up again for a month, and get two more for free.

I wonder how many others have binned the site.

FMP are cheaper by £1, so I might go there and save some cash.:2fun::2fun:

I had tried the new layout 3/4 times. The search function on the top bar was always missing except on home page. Then I found my Wisbech records was down as Wisbech ,Cambridgeshire, JERSEY ,England

Edit-See someone else has same broblem,how many more?

Today at 5:18am.Ancestry I am appalled that my great uncle, born in England, fought in the First World War for Englnd and, although missing in action in France and Flanders, is shown as missing in action in Indiana, America - WTH?! Since when was "France and Flanders" (Ancestrys listings) in Indiana?? I have 3 separate sources, also attached to him, that clearly state he was "buried" at Arras. He was killed shortly before his 21st birthday having just been awarded the Military Medal. Please can we give up with the stupid already?

I have Windows 10 Edge, and they couldn't manage the Browser. Had to change to another browser.

I tried it, but went back to old version, do not have that option now. It is awful, the old site was brilliant. Family connection information has now dissapeared. I am trying to trace connecttion to my 5th cousin, easy with old version, impossible with this one. Think they have copied Find my past - & we all know what happened with that !!! don't know where to go now as many years of research is on Ancestry, all copied to Family Tree - they are now discontinuing that - what is going on !!!!

If it aint broke, dont fix it.

You need a degree to work out the new site. It is terrible.

One really annoying thing is that in the Life Story, where every location is placed in America, you can edit the place names but can't change or delete the stupid map of America! Makes it completely useless.
