I don't know what is going wrong with Antree but it keeps offering me links to one of my trees and I'm afraid these days it takes a while for the 'penny to drop'.
Soo annoying, just when I think I've found another goog lead I find its my own!

I'm off down the pub!!!

I put Ancestry UK in my bookmarks and the past two days have gone to open it it keeps opening in Ancestry.com and wants to redirect me?? There must be a fault somewhere, because I haven't changed anything

I haven't logged in to Ancestree for nearly two weeks now, as the site has been such a rotten experience since the changes.

At every opportunity I go to their FaceBoook page and give then grief about their site.

The last time they wanted me to change my browser, and see if it made a difference. I told the to get st*ffed, and make their own tech dept sort it out, and not use us as guinea pigs.

I've lost count of how many pages of complaining I've left for them, but the more the merrier, I say.

The world does not seen to exist outside the USA, as far as they're concerned, and I've told them so.

Flood the site with complaints, and eventually they may get the message.

Steve.:)

ps. I won't be online for the next 2 weeks or so, as I'm nearly out of my internet 'allowance', which is paid for monthly and usually runs out after 3 weeks or so(the top ups are really expensive).:(

Plus I'm off to the UK to have a coochy coo, with my impending Grandson, and crash my relatives homes for B&B..

I am having the same problem Ellie. Won't let me upload Zabah's sister marriage. Just when I was on a roll with my Sidebottoms!

Anc lost the plot when it switched to the new format.

Anc is like a grave digger who was digging a grave in a huge cemetery, went for a break then back to finish the job and could not remember where the grave was, he lost the plot.

They charge more than enough for use of the site and I keep getting this:

Some tree features are temporarily unavailable. During this time you may not be able to add new information to your tree. Thanks for your patience while we resolve this issue.

How long is temporary?? it was doing it this morning and now!!!!

Where do you search your desk top software, for your family history.

Surely, that's where you keep it.;)
Yeah, my mistake. I use Family Tree Maker on the Mac platform, even though I use Ancestry.com for the searches.

I meant to say that I personally find it easier to use a desktop solution to find and organize all the data. I'm having a brain before the weekend.

Yes I bought Family Tree Maker software years ago, but it always closes on me, must have a gremlin. So I work from my "Ances" tree, and save my tree to my software.

What is annoying is in the Public Member Trees you see a match for an ancestor and you click in and get this "Contact this member for further info". In that case the tree ain't public then.

Anc is playing up tonight. Marriages show spouses first names in results but you have to click into the full transcript to get the surname.

Thanks
