Has anyone used this site today as the Birth indexes for 1837-1983 are not there! Just the Marriages and Deaths.

Yes, it's been having a few fit's the last two days. They must be updating/reorganising or something. And it has been slow loading pages.

At one point I was searching for a female relative 1861, and up came war and pension records.

I found what I wanted under the 1916-2005 births, perhaps this is the new index?

I do get a bit annoyed when there is no mention of any changes forthcoming, until it happens.

The 1916-2005 birth index has also been playing up as well. Sometimes I only get post 1984 records.

I didnt look at the home page properly. If I had looked under Whats Happening at Ancestry would have seen New Reocrds.

I also prefer the old indexing system to the post 1920 birth indexes. The electronic database is all over the place.

I cannot wait for the LMA records to be digitised on Ancestry as well.

I did read somewhere that they where gonna put the London records on their site, cant wait either.
