I have the image of that 1851 and have managed by inverting some of the colours to get more detail from it.

I don't know when Robert senior arrived but I doubt before 1861 census. I don't know when son Charles arrived but it had to be before 1874.

At least Robert junior, Emma and Esther had to be in England in 1861 but I can't find them. I have been trying assuming they are still in Chorlton Upon Medlock.

Also arrivals for Robert senior and Charles not found. Charles Thomas may have arrived before 1861.

Robert senior was in Australia in 1864 because he was the depositor. But don't have him in 1861 or his arrival.

That's why these three should be in England in 1861 but maybe not Robert senior and Charles.

This Anderson family has connections to Cheshire and Lancs but not Ireland like another Anderson family in my tree.

Jane born Scotland abt 1848 to William Sands and Catherine Angus Swan but no birth or baptism found for Jane.

Charles died aged 95 but this is all there is for an obit.

Mr. Charles Thomas Anderson, of Farr Street, Rockdale, died at his home last Saturday, in his 96th year. He leaves two sons and two daughters.
