Oh, I agree it looks more like Mill but the actual question is does Mill End fit with Oxford street or not and I can't find the answer.

Found a Hereford St off Oxford St in a 1830 map.
Other problem is that Oxford St and Mile end are on opposite sides of London!
A terrace in London can be just a row of terraced houses in a street.
Maps of the 1800 do not show individual houses or terraces.
Also unable to find a Mill end for london unless a miss spelling(as on some web sites)

Yes, I agree it's probably No 4 in a row of terrace houses and probably no way of knowing where along Oxford street it was.
