There is a marriage in the index for an Andrew Scobbie to Mary Templeton at Canongate Edinburgh in 1849 which looks likely for his second marriage.

The Mary Hunter in the 1882 shipping record must be Janet's mother but then living at Peebles seems not to fit.

Janet's death reg in Australia lists parents as William & Mary.
