Hi

I'm looking for members of the Southern family of Bodmin, Cornwall. My husband is an only son of an only son. His father and grandparents died way back in the 1940s. His grandparents were Alfred Charles Southern and Mary (Polly) Southern (née Burrough). His father's name was Kenneth Garfield Southern. I think Alfred Charles Southern's parents were Thomas and Anne.

Hi there and welcome.

A V. quick look at the 1901 census shows the following:

  • Ann Southern 56
  • Thomas Southern 54
  • Charles Southern 19

all at St. Nicholas St, Bodmin, Cornwall. All were born in Bodmin.

Alfred Charles Southern was married to Mary Burrough in OND 1906 in Bodmin.

Kenneth Garfield Southern was born AMJ 1909 in Bodmin.
