I'll see where that leads me. I think Ann was born Paisley and I don't have a sister Janet in my tree. There is about a 6 year gap between Catherine and Ann so I could be missing a Janet.

There are 17x BLACKLEY in Paisley in 1911 and I can account so far for only 5 of them. It's possible I'm missing some from my tree.

It's possible that Ann could be listed under another name and that in 1861 it's not indicated that she might be a half-sister of Catherine.

I'd like a look up please in Lanark and Renfrew only in 1851 for an Ann RAMSAY born 1843-1847 Renfrew.

Why does Ann called herself Blackley here:

Why would a 2nd spouse be listed if there was no 2nd marriage?

If the parents as listed on Ann's marriage are the correct ones why is there no birth reg for her?
