On 31st Dec 1776, Ann PRIMER married Thomas CHASMAR (1755-1827) in Benenden, Kent, UK.
Thomas Chasmar was christened in the Parish Church in Benenden on 27th Nov 1755. I've been able to trace back to his grandparents, Samuel Chasmar (1711-1778 ) and Mary Williard (1715-1794) .

Can't find Ann PRIMER or her parents :(

Did find one birth/baptism for an Ann PRIMMER, christened 1st April 1753, parents William and Elizabeth Primmer, in Hawkhurst. That's a few miles away.

Found one family historian who had Ann dying in 1860, aged 100 years, so being born in 1760 .... no source cited

Hi Gail

Something to ponder..

A popular BI has 2 possible burials for Ann

28 Dec 1788
Ann CHASMER
No age given
Benenden, St George & St Margaret

3 Sep 1812
Ann CHASMER
Age 54
Benenden, St George & St Margaret

And what looks like 2 of their offspring

19 Mar 1792
Charles CHASMER
No Age given
Benenden, St George & St Margaret

2 Aug 1845
Robert CHASMAR
Age 68
Benenden, St George & St Margaret

Had a quick look in the censuses and nothing leaping out for Ann.

Thanks Geoff,

I'd lean more towards the 1812 death, with her born in 1758

Their last daughter Sally (married Thomas Munn) was born in 1788 ... another maybe, if died in childbirth !!
Decisions, decisions

Robert Chasmar/Chasmer was my Gx3 Grandfather ... married Elizabeth Gardiner in 1798 and their daughter Charlotte emigrated to Aus :)

Gail :)
