[Bootzy]

Transported to Van Diemens Land (Tasmania)for burglary in 1842. Stole a milk churn and 8lbs of butter from Jeremiah Brigg, farmer of Clayton. Convict record can be seen on Tasmania archives (name given in error in record as Joseph and place of birth as Layton but everything else fits perfectly. Described in convict record as widower. Robinson moved to Saddleworth some time between 1851 and 1858. Jonas given conditional pardon in Hobart 1858

Thanks for looking.

There is a lot of info on Jonas posted by varioius people on the net but I've yet to find anything that shows it's the right Anne who married him. Bit too far off a main line to get a copy of the marriage in Victoria.

We know Thomas died in June but we don't know what month of the year Anne married. Also, no search has been done to try and find a second Anne. If it was Anne nee DODD then a huge difference in age between them.

Also, I have no record of any children for Thomas & Anne so don't know if Anne had reason to remarry quickly.
