do you know her maiden name? There is a David in the records as having died between census. Can't find Annie and can't find remarriage for her before census either. Do you know she survived?

Hello Barbara,

Ann MOODIE born 14 Feb 1830 Dunfermline if another researcher is correct. That's one I don't have.

I think she should be 59 and in Elie and Earlsferry in 1891.

I think this is her death but I din't have a copy of it or the index entry. I have 6 credits left and already got 4 deaths on my list, 5 if I add this one :biggrin: so I've not decided which one to get next.

Dave, there is another Ann born in Elie and in Elie with her father David Allan. She got me confused but she is in the census in Elie on her own and unmarried in 1891 so think that is the one with father David not husband David.

The death does look right for yours tho. Have you found her in 1900?

Will take another look.

That seems to mean there are 2x Annie about the same age both born Fife, but the one I'm after was born Dunfermline.

That one was unmarried Geoff! and she is with her father in earlier census. Driving me crazy these two, I have tried searching just for their christian names and born Dunfermlie with 5 years either side of their birth year and still can't find them.
