Born after 1854 so no parents on births in Scotland.

Does not fit. ? Jessie born abt 1849 and daughter born abt 1864.

43x David Gray in Lanark in 1851 and not one a sculptor.

Annie married in Middx. I wonder how long she had been in England and if her parents had also left Scotland, for a time ?

No Annie Gray in Middx in 1881 who stands out.

Google only finds this site.
