Name: Annie Manton
Event Type: Census
Event Date: 1891
Gender: Female
Age: 7
Relationship to Head of Household: Daughter
Birthplace: Newington, London
Schedule Type: Household
Registration District: St Saviour Southwark
Sub-District: St Mary Newington
Ecclesiastical Parish: St Marys
Parish: Newington
County: London, Middlesex

Probably this one although it seems she didn't use her middle name in Australia:

Births Dec Qtr 1883
MANTON Annie Maude St. Saviour 1d 185

I'd like that household please and a look up for Annie in 1901. Possibly arrived in Australia in 1906.

I can't find Annie in 1901 census on FS. And I can't find her arriving in 1906.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks Geoff.

I don't know what bits to believe.

If the 1906 arrival is correct then Annie is in England in 1901.

If that's not her death in 1977 then where is the birth of that one?

If the 1891 census has the right Annie with parents then where is her death?

Thanks Geoff.

So, no daughter Annie.

Is Mary A still Mary A in later census?

Does this one belong with James the boot maker & Elizabeth? Age 7 would fit. And Newington fits as well.

Births Dec 1883
MANTON Annie Maude St. Saviour 1d 185

Born London, Middlesex and Surrey 1881 - 1890 only one other:

Births Mar 1881
MANTON Annie Elizabeth Holborn 1b 781

Mary A Jr. still there 1901, can't see her after 1901. Edit: Yes still Mary A

I couldn't find any bap. for the boot maker's offspring, I'll check through them again..

Thanks Geoff.

So if we believe the tree 'Annie' arrived in 1906 and this is her parents marriage:

Marriages Jun 1882
MANTON John Kensington 1a 46
MITCHELL Mary Ann Kensington 1a 46

and fits with:

Death 16254/1977 GALLERY ANNIE - JOHN - MARY ANN

One tree says Tamworth and the other death at Manly.
