I can't see a remarriage for Annie.

The marriage that you quote for Rebecca Sophia Gandon gives father as George Gandon (St Mary's Chatham, 22 March 1886)

Richard George William Gandon aged 41 appears in the 1911 census when he uses his full name. He has a spinster sister Mary Maria Gandon age 48 with his family.
In 1901 RGWG is going by the name George Gandon, still in Gillingham and sister Mary with his family. ( indexed as Sandon)

In 1881 there is no Richard George William Gandon but there is a Wiliam Gandon aged 11 with sister Mary aged 18 in Gillingham Kent with their parents George and Mary. (PC 893, F 21, Pg 35)


It looks possible that the two birth you have are not children of Zaccheus and Annie

1851 census Zaccheus is indexed as Lacchens Gander !
the children with Zaccheus and Amelia are Elizabeth 16, Giles 13, Thomas 11, Susannah 9, Peter 6, Mary Ann 4, George 1.

Giles was baptised Giles Chadderton Gandon, at Chatham 21 Jan 1838. He was in the merchant navy and ended up married in Bridlington with several children. The "Chadderton" name may help with an earlier marriage.

Last time around Julie found the indenture certificates for several Gandons but we could not find Peter's parents. There is also a researcher of the family in UK and as of my last contact he also had nothing on parents.

I have 7 children from second marriage. Some died young and some names repeated.

He joined the Royal Navy as an Ordinary Seaman on 5th July 1828 at Chatham. His Majesty's ship Crocodile's papers describe him as a Painter by trade, 5 ft 2 inches in height, of fair complexion and with Dark Hair and Eyes.

I won't post the full story but Andrew was discharged in Sydney from HMS Crocodile in 1829. Somehow a convict got hold of the discharge papers and used them and Andrew's name to marry.
