Hi all - another Aussie from warm and sunny Queensland. Not new to genealogy but still looking to fill out the stories. Our last trip to the UK in 2017 we looked up family locations and historical locations connected to our ancestors. Stayed in a B&B the premises of which was one of 3 properties owned by an ancestor in the 1700's. My mothers Great grandfather as aboard Admiral Collingwood's Royal Sovereign at Trafalgar as a 17 year old so had to visit the Victory as it was very similar and also Collingwood's Monument and touch the 4 original cannon off the ship. Visited Villages and Churches lived in, married in and buried in down through the centuries. All interesting and overwhelming at times. Hoping to get some answers to some obscure stories along the way.
