Me again I’ve got a new one for you to have a ganders at Richard Nicks born in Coventry 1870 married Florence Amelia Tipler ( their son John Nicks is my Grandads dad) I’ve got his mother as Margaret Gell/Gill 1845 and his dad as Richard Nicks. I’d like to focus on the Gells/Gills as my grandad is sure we have Scottish heritage any help would be hugely appreciated and I already know how helpful you all are. I don’t have much more information on these people though( Richard 1870 is my 2nd great grandad)

No birth/baptism found for a Margaret Gill nor is she on the 1851 Census. However on the transcription of the Parish Register entry for her marriage to Richard Nicks she gives her occupation as Filler.

There is this entry in the 1861 Census

Hey everyone I’ve found a Margaret Gill but she was born in Coventry? Is this my Margaret? still no luck finding Mary either hmmm
