hi again iv hit another brick wall im trying to find a marriage for john hockenhull (hocknull,hocknell) he was born in 1795 in cheshire not sure if his wife is a sussanna birtles but i know his kidds are emma 1822 thomas 1826 ann 1824 john 1819 and george 1830 if you can find anything would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hi,
There is a marriage in the Cheshire Parish Registers on the Family Search Record Pilot site for a John Hockenhull and a Susannah Birtles 8 Dec 1817 great Budworth. I also found Thomas's baptism in 1826 but haven't looked for the rest of the family.

In 1841 census there is a Thomas Hockenhull 15
I think he could be an apprentice to a saddler, not sure
He's in Nantwich, perhaps worth keeping to one side do you think??

All Sandbach
children of John & Susanna as Hockenhull.

Hi I have a birtles in my family tree my gran was Marion hocknull and Marion father was John campbell hocknull marion mum was Susan ward and Susan ward mum was Sarah Taylor not sure if connected
