OBITUARY
Another very old resident of Goulburn in the
person of Mr. William Jones died at his late
residence, Auburn-street, at 3 o'clock on Thurs-
day afternoon, at the age of 78, after having
been in failing health for the past few years.
He leaves, besides a widow, two sons and one
daughter. He was born in Erngland and came
out to Australia 73 years ago. The sons are Mr.
George Jones, of the firm of E. Jones and Co.,
and Mr. W. F. L. Jones, violinist, and the
daughter is Mrs. A. G. Furner, all of Goulburn.
The funeral took place on Friday morning, the
remains being interred in the Methodist portion
of the general cemetery.

That must be John aged 16 in the shipping record. Then Henry must have married Grace then Margaret (EVANS on baptism and in shipping record).

OBITUARY.
On Thursday afternoon the death occurred at her residence, Rosemont, Goulburn, of Mrs. Honorah Lawless, an old and respected resident of the district. The deceased was 80 years of age, and had been laid up for about three months. Her husband predeceased her some thirteen years ago. She leaves a family of four sons and five daughters. The sons are William (Postmaster at Wickham), Martin (contractor at Harden), Edward (Railway Department, Eveleigh), and Arthur (school teacher at Mittagong). The daughters are Mrs. Swann, Rosemont ; Miss Ada Lawless, teacher, Cook's Hill, Newcastle; Mrs. Murray, South Coast; Mrs. George Jones, Goulburn ; and Miss Annie Lawless, Rosemonte. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon, the remains being interred in the Roman Catholic cemetery at Kenmore.
