Another newbie

As you can gather I am another newbie. I have been searching my husband's family tree for about 3 years now and I have come to a stop. The reason being is that his family come from County Durham and I live in Essex. Need to save pennies to go up there. My mother is doing my side of the family and so far she is doing ok. If I am allowed I might see if I can get any help for her on here.
