I Love dogs.

My two boys are a cross between Springer Spaniel/Labrador (Mother), and Red Setter (Father).
Their names are Bowie and Floyd (no prizes as to why). Coming up to their second birthday.
I've had Old English Sheep dogs, but mostly cross breeds. I adopted my wife's German Shepherd and Springer Spaniel, now no longer with us.
And before Bowie and Floyd, we had a gorgeous English Springer Spaniel called Homer (The Simpsons), he always was burping. Again sadly lost him to cancer at 7yrs old.
LUV, LUV, LUV, dogs.

Hi All

Just thought you might like to see a picture of Chloe which was taken at her last show, she is often to be found in bed head on pillow nose to nose with my hubby, both snoring!

She's absolutely beautiful x:)
Hi Ellie.

Yes, we are very lucky that her breder allowed us to have her, it was a long journey from North Wales to Devizes when we went for her, but well worth it. She is often to be seen Kissing her future husband Danny and his mum, she has a sweet personality.

Gwen. :)

I love my babies

After my 14 year old Blue Heeler x Labrador died in 2005, and many tears later I ended up getting two Toy Poodle x Lhasa Apso puppies from my sister.
Cassie a girl and Rupert a boy.

The motto in our house is "WHAT THE PUPPIES WANT THE PUPPIES GET".

The crazy thing about them is they love watching tv, cracks up up.:D

cheers

Hi Gwen,
It has now come to the stage, where I have to carry Floyd to his bed at night, Bowie trots to his bed as he knows there is a treat coming.
They have trained me so well.

Hi all, lovely to be amongst so many dog lovers and hear about so many beloved dogs.

When I first introduced my self I mentioned my beautiful 6 year old Labrador, Amber, who had been diagnosed with lung cancer and a very bleak outlook. (Thank you again Gwen for the message of support you sent) - well since then a lot has happened.

Weekly visits to the vet, lots of medication, an operation - nothing was found in any of her other major organs, blood tests which showed a low white blood cell count that could indicate a bone marrow problem, but she has really picked up in herself. She has put on weight and is so much perkier, almost like her former self. I am fingers crossed that I will have her a lot longer than the initial 6 weeks that they gave her (it's been over that now).

They are still deciding on the overall prognosis but even the vet is astounded by her general health. I am thrilled to bits about it all.
