Looking for this man in the 1901. In census with parents in 1891 in Wombwell near Barnsley. Marries Anne Mary Hughes in 1892 at Wombwell, Yorkshire. His parents are Tom Gawthorpe and Dinah Barnes.

He is a miner and in 1911 is in Wallsend, Northumberland but comes back to Yorkshire and dies in Rotherham area in 1953 He is in Yorkshire in 1939

He has one daughter with Annie Hughes, Lily 1893 in Yorkshire and another with lady named Oscroft named Jane Dinah Gawthorpe in 1910.From Gro.gov He eventually married Annie Oscroft but not until 1938. Dangerous to assume but he could have left the first Annie but couldn't marry second Annie until first Annie died.

So finding him in 1901 might help but can't find him or Lily. Gawthorpe can be Gawthrope and Goldthorpe at times. And there is another Arthur of similar age but born in Ryhill and marries an Alice.
