This is the most likely outcome as Mary wasn't mar. when Jane was born, she was listed a spinster..

I can't find the mar. yet, either. So the bap. may be questionable..

That may be the wrong bap. When Jane mar. Richard Lee in 1845 she was noted as a minor, if she was bap. 1822 she would be of full age, i.e. 23y

No, alternatives difficult to come by, names not too uncommon.

It's one of those situations where I would ask if there was some info that is known/definite to work from!
