I have found several notices relating to my family tree in "The Cairns Post" newspaper.

More leads to follow up one notice For Alfred Joseph Slade Reads:


The Cairns Post
Thursday 14 September 1933

SLADE;-In. loving memory . of Alf,

my beloved husband, who died on September 14, 1932.

"Sadly missed."

So he must have remarried as his wife that I have died in 1916 so a new lead to follow
