Australian Voting

Hope all your Australian's voted today, would hate to see anyone get fined.

My voting experience today was ........................ It did my head in
The amount of political parties has gone way OTT!

Australian Cyclists Party
Australian Equality Party (Marriage)
Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party
Australian *** Party
Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party

AND on and on the list goes. A white rectangle 3 ft long paper. Start reading one end and by the time you get to the other end you have forgotten the beginning

Now for someone like me who just doesnt understand politics in any shape or form and finds it all very confusing getting a form like that today to fill out just confused me even more.

Voting for the Senate is easier this year even though the number of parties and candidates have not been put off by the change in preference system.
