you guys are incredible. Sorry its been a busy week and not been able to get here and just read only some so far of what you have all contributed. As much as i would love to think John is Michaels dad,, i am sorry but i cant accept that.... for 2 reasons apart from the death cert. One is John died in 1834 when his said son John would be 4 years old.. Ok thats ok But to believe that i have to disbelieve the stories Michael told his children and have come down over 3 generations.. one such story is The last time he saw his father was when the ships they were on passed in mid ocean [Michael's father, William Aynsley was a Sea Captain .] and they hailed calling out the ships' names and Captain's and Mate's names. On my nights of work next week, i am going to make a start searching again Johns brother William born1812 from scratch. Something else Ancestry tells me is John and Williams parents were Joseph and Sarah.. i also dont believe to be correct as Joseph was born in 1795,, making him 9 years old and being married and a daddy. Gee !! once again thanks a million to you all for your help
