Address transcribed as Shimble St which can't be right.

Occupation Blac Ring ... is actually Blacking ...?

Thanks,

I read the address as Thimble Street and the occupation as Blacking Hawker.
The last three letters of the occupation are definitely 'ker' as for the rest look at some of th other names. I'm sure it starts with an 'H' and further down the page from Benjamin is the name Bower so I think the 3rd letter is a 'w' thus H-wker' can o0nly be Hawker.

Thanks Emeltee.

I agree.

Very poor transcription for the person to think the first letter is an 'S' as it is not like the 'S' in St(reet).

I thought Blacking Maker but it is an 'H' as per 'Head' lower down and at that age he would be selling not making boot polish.
