Hello crankypants,

Thanks. Lanark rules them out but to be sure I'll see if I can find their deaths.

My William was a carpenter in census then builder in 1913 not a stone mason.

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

I can't see William arriving in Qld. or Vic. records.

One last thing before we move on to ANDERSON.

I noticed William was buried with Mary. Any sign of where Charlotte was buried?

Regards,

Dave

Hi Hayley,

George's parents:

Marriage 2052/1898 BARRACLOUGH ALBERT H - MORTIMER NELLIE - WATERLOO * 14 Mar 1898

Qld. Birth 15 Sep 1867/B07610 Barraclough Albert Herbert - John - Mary Elizabeth Askham

I'm a descendant of one of Albert's sisters so on a different line to George.

Dave

Hi Dave and Geoff,
Hope you are well.
I was wondering if you could please let me know if there is a family tree line available for the Barracloughs going back to arrival in Australia and beyond to Yorkshire? I keep researching jumbled threads without a consistant path to follow. I have tried to send a direct message to you but am unable via this website. Thank you! Hayley (I'm with Susan Barraclough at the moment)

Hi Hayley,

I know of no on-line tree that is totally correct. I have no plans to put my incomplete tree on line.

If you have specific queries then please post them and I will see if I have a confirmed source for the answer.

Births Mar Qtr 1855 BARRACLOUGH Emma Jane - Huddersfield 9a 276 mmn ASKHAM

Deaths Sep Qtr 1856 BARRACLOUGH Emma Jane - Huddersfield 9a 209

No baptism or burial on FS or FreeREG.

I've looked at the details on that site and there are errors. One daughter was not a widow when she married. Several have errors in year of birth.
