Does anyone out there have access to the Parish Registers of St Mary, Speen.

I'm after the details of the marriage of Lucy Wheeler to William Edwards on 7th September 1809.

I have the basic transcription from fmp so I know they were married after Banns and I also know that William Edwards came from Wiltshire. I'd like to know who the witnesses were and if, by any vague chance, any parental details were given.

Thanks,

Emeltee

Nothing on Ancestry, the originals of Berkshire are not on there yet and haven't seen a transcription there either.

Many thanks for looking, Amanda. I've waited this long, I'm sure I can wait some more!

I did think of e-mailing the RO until I discovered that they charge £28 per hour. As I say, I can wait.

That's what I thought too. They do have a free service but the way it reads I get the impression all they will tell you is whether or not the info is available. However, just in case I am reading it wrong, I have gone ahead and e-mailed them with my query, so shall wait and see what response I get.
