I don't know gibbo, I think they all must have all gotten into bad weather and drowned, and the ships sunk, but as for disappearing? well, maybe. I don't have another explanation.

The Bermuda Triangle is a fact as it is an area of sea.
It is also fact that planes and ships have disappeared in the area called the Bermuda triangle.

The reasons behind the disappearances however are varied and most have reasonable explanations.

For example turbulent weather patterns, small similar looking islands, swifts currents all make it a naturally hazardous place to navigate, one small error quickly turns into a disaster.

The Avengers of Flight 19 were heavy planes if they ditched in the sea they would sink quickly with no trace.
From the evidence available it seems they made a navigation error and ran out of fuel.
The PBM Mariner search plane that disappeared looking for Flight 19 most probably exploded in mid-air. They were renowed as flying "gas-tanks" and many exploded or burst into flames.

However there are anomalies with the area. There does seem to be some magnetic variations that affect compasses, this is natural and affects other parts of the world too.

There also seem to be other as yet unexplained [FONT=&quot]incidents which may be natural events or many be down to stress in the pilots or a combination of both.
Cheers

So a area to stay away from for several reasons

When they have shows on the telly about it they have that spooky music and the tone of their voices etc and make it sound eerie  No doubt they pump it up somewhat for television viewing
