I have some army papers here and it has his pernament address as Binsted Rectory. Thanks

Hi Ben,
The persons name was Reginald Burton Trollope. It is his army records that state his pernament address is Binsted Rectory Isle of Wight dated 1914 Then on another piece out of his records states his address as Oakhurst Farm Billinghurst Sussex dated 1914. It has me confused as to why he would have 2 residential addresses????

It is possible that he had 2 residences. His usual one at the Binstead Rectory on the IOW and his farm in Billingshurst in Sussex.

A will might be good if you know his death date or approximate death date.

I have just found his Medal Card dated 11/6/21 and by then on the back his address is Manor Farm, Wantage, Berks. Lieutenant Captain Major Reginald B Trollope RFA.

Hi Ben,
I have already got his will and his address on it was boroughbridge road york. he died on the 27 dec 1975. he lived at that address since 1938. Binsted rectory info was dated 1914. i was wondering whether he may have been going to be a priest and then with the war breaking out etc he joined up????
