Birth Certificates for Fredrick and Nancy Duckett

Hi,

Trying to find birth and death dates for Fredrick and Nancy Duckett of Reading.

They had several children including my grandfather Reginald Duckett who was born on 11.09.1905. Other children included George, Fred, William and Gertrude.

My grandfather was too old to join the army for World War Two but joined an ack ack formation and fought at Dartmoor. Any information on this unit would be great.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the maiden name of Annie Duckett?

George Duckett, their son, served in the Royal Navy in the Second World War - can anyone provide any details of his service?

WW2 records are not available on line. They are held by the MOD. It costs about £30 to purchase a copy. You need tp send a Death certificate and be prepared to wait a long time as the MOD don't hurry.
