I have received copies of Elizabeth & Margaret Blessington Death Certificates.
Elizabeth died 25th August 1901 aged 30.
Place of Death: Asylum, Toowoomba.
Place of Burial: Toowoomba Cemetery.
Margaret died 26th June 1957 aged 91
Place of Death: Jubilee Hospital, Dalby
Place of Burial: Dalby Cemetery.

Neither Certificate states parents names, Marriages or Children.

At least now I know where they are buried but sad they had no family listed.

Hi Jen,
Are you trying to find more info out on the girls? If so the QLD state archives may have Elizabeth's aslyum records and been more than 100 years you should be able to obtain a copy of them if they still excist. What info it would have in it i dont know but could be worth a try.

Gibbo,
Thanks for the plot numbers I will get in contact with a member of my family and see if she will visit the cemetery and get a photo of the lot. have been in contact with the State Archives and applied for copies of her and Margarets admission records. I was hoping it may state where their mother was born as I have some records stating she was born in Bradford York and other stating Ireland.

Gibbo,

I got the admission papers for Lizzie Blessington but all it has is date of admittance Oct 1887, Re-admitted June 97 for Offensiveness and date of death.
No other information on form.
Didn't do much good there.

Hi Jenny,
Well that was a disppointment. So we're back to square one. Something might pop up somewhere hopefully that will help.
