Im helping a friend to track her grandfather who served in the Boer war.
He was Lionel Lloyd Clark , born 1884 in St Pancras London but was rejected as he was too young so he then signed up under a ?false name of LIONEL DAY and the family have a Boer war medal in that name.

how can i find out what the full story is and confirm his service?
Id love to help the family.
