My 3rd great grandfather was Abraham William Bolton, BIRTH AND/OR CHRISTENED 19 June 1773, Binfield, Berkshire, England, DEATH 7 April 1847, Binfield, Berkshire, England. He married Charlotte Stocker. My 2nd great grandfather was William James Boulton, BIRTH 20 June 1796, St. Mary, St. Marylebone Road, Marylbone, London, England. DEATH 21 April 1885 • Easton Twp., Ionia Co., Michigan. He married Nancy L. Kelly in NY State. When quite young, William was impressed aboard a Man-of-War gun boat, known as a 74 at a wharf in London to be a sailor. He was on this ship for 4 years. He deserted with 4 others upon landing at Quebec in about 1811-12. Eventually, made his way to NY State, married, then moved to Michigan in about 1835. He died at the home of his daughter, Nancy (Boulton) Haynor, Easton, Ionia County, MI on 21 April 1885 • Easton Twp., Ionia Co., Michigan. He and his wife raised a large family in Palmyra, Lenawee Co., Michigan.

OBITUARY
MR. WILLIAM BOULTON.
An old resident passed away on Monday morning, Mr. William Boulton, at his residence, Hill-street. He fell ill on Sunday evening, the cause being the rupture of a blood vessel in the heart, and succumbed on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. He was one of the oldest residents of the March district, where by energy and hard work he had made a competence for himself, and had retired to Orange to enjoy it in the declining years of his life. He leaves a grown-up family. He was seventy-seven years of age, and had passed the larger portion of them in the March area. The funeral left his late residence, Hill-st, at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon for the Church of England cemetery, March.

So far I can't find a burial for either of them.

Thomas Boulton was buried in the grounds of St Thomas's, North Sydney. The cemetery was turned into what is now St Thomas's rest park and I believe there is a memorial plaque. That area is prime real estate these days so we are lucky to even have a park. Thomas is my 3 x Great grandfather. My line in through Elizabeth, the Love's, Presdee's then Smedley. My mum knew Elizabeth when she was a little girl. I have some comments tucked away somewhere.
